I remember i was just starting the 3rd grade and my mom told me we were moving to Kannapolis.I was young at the time so i really didn't care, i was up to try new things. I was moving because my mom had got a new job that required us to move a little bit closer to that area. Another reason we moved was because my mom didn't want me to go to the middle school there because it was racist or whatever.
I don't really remember what day it was but i know it was sometime in January of 2006, and i was going to Landis Elementary School. The day i moved wasn't so good because i had butterflies in my chest. My friends didn't want me to go but we were young so they didn't fully understand the reason. At the end of the day i said goodbye to all of my friends and teachers. When i got home my mom and i finished packing all of our stuff and headed out to our new "home". The place i had moved to was Cabbarrus Arms. A decent sized apartment, I didn't think nothing of it. I went to Shady Brooke Elementary. It was cool, everybody was all "welcoming". I disliked the fact that we had to wear uniforms. Its like i don't wanna wear the same stuff as somebody else. I wanna stand out, and its not like wearing a uniform will change the person wearing it. That person still gone a be bad or good. Its whatever though.
I'm glad i moved to Kannapolis though, because i wouldn't have met the amazing people i know today. I probably wouldn't have never played football either. Sometimes i do miss my old friends at Landis, but i get over it. Well that's my story.
cool story im jelly of you
